At H J WEIR Engineering we are always looking for experienced people to assist us in the bespoke manufacture of our laundry equipment, to service and maintain the machines and to take part in the smooth running of our administration facilities including the handling of our customer sales enquiries, providing our customers worldwide with spare parts and looking after the welfare and safety of our employees.

Here is a taster of the type of roles we can offer:-
Machine Assembler
The ability to be able to read engineering drawings coupled with an eye for detail, an understanding of basic electrics and an experience of mechanical assembly are must have qualifications for this challenging role.
Fabricator/Welder
Experienced fabricator/welders are a rarity so if you have proven experience of fabricating and welding gained over a number of years within a manufacturing environment we would like to chat to you.
Electronics
A post that requires a high degree of skilled knowledge and with an ability to communicate clearly with our customers throughout the world. If your qualifications and relevant experience can demonstrate clear logic problem solving please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Office Administration
Team work and a flexible approach to assisting with a number of varied administrative tasks at any one time are a vital requirement for our administration posts. A desire to provide an excellent customer service is paramount within any role in the administration offices therefore clear communication skills are a must.
Service Engineer
A solid hands-on approach preferably with H J Weir laundry equipment is what we are looking for in this role. You will be representing the company therefore good communication skills and the ability to train on-site laundry personnel are also high on the priority list for this opening.
