The WEIR VACFEED 47 is a single lane, single station spreader/feeder designed to accurately present both large and small items to a flatwork ironer. Auto-variable Speed Control is included as standard to enable the spreader/feeder to accurately follow variations in ironer speed. A two-point reject system is included for operation
with a compatible folder.
Unique and simple to operate loading clips together with a patented spread, transfer and lay system allows the operator to quickly and efficiently process larger items of linen such as sheets, duvet covers and tablecloths.
The load clip station can be simply retracted to gain access to the main feed conveyor, allowing both small and shaped linen to be manually placed on the suction surface.
The VACFEED 47 includes variable speed fans to ensure superior sheet lay and tailspreading quality for varying weights of material through increased vacuum control, whilst also reducing energy consumption. These fans provide excellent vacuum and rapid agitating air streams that draw the work onto the machine’s feed belts, and the
tails into the vacuum-spreading chamber.
Both the vacuum fans and feed rollers can be switched off for easy waxing of the ironer.
The VACFEED 47 has an overall depth of less than 1800mm (70”) with standard delivery conveyor. The standard working widths is either 3.0m & 3.3m (alternative widths are available).
