The WEIR FOLDMAKER 94 is a single lane folder suitable for folding blankets, large towels and similar articles. The machine will impart up to three primary folds and one or two crossfolds. The machine enables an article to be folded with a logo shown on the outside of the pack. A defined pack size can also be programmed to provide a uniform presentation of completed articles.
The FOLDMAKER 94 will accept articles up to a maximum of 3500mm long and 2200mm wide. This maximum length must have three folds. The smallest article that can be folded is 500mm and this must have one fold only.
Accumulation and stacking of all crossfolded items can be achieved with the inclusion of a H J Weir Auxiliary Drop Stacker (ADS).

PLC control with easy to use Touch Screen Interface. 32.000 colour, High Illumination, Liquid Crystal Display; 32 available programs; simple selection procedure for machine operators.

The FOLDMAKER 94 MONO FEED is a single lane Blanket Folder that incorporates an integrated single operator Automatic Feeding Unit.
Unique and simple to operate loading clips allow the operator to quickly and easily feed items such as blankets, large towels and similar articles. Following activation of the loading clips, spreading of the article via carriages prior to lay onto the input conveyor of the folder is under the control of a single motor in conjunction with an inverter drive. A production rate of approximately 600 items per hour is achievable dependent on condition of articles presented to the operators and dexterity of the operators.
The Automatic Feeding Unit can be simply retracted to gain access to the main feed conveyor, allowing manual feeding of small blankets.
