The WEIR AUTOPREP is designed to automatically separate tangled workloads of laundry and present articles directly to feeding machine operators. Workloads in a suitable sized laundry truck can be loaded direct into an Automatic Truck Mover (minimum requirement option). Alternatively overhead bag systems or purpose-built conveyors can feed tangled work into the AUTOPREP when the Automatic Shuttle Truck & Feed Hopper (AST – FH) option is chosen. When operated with an Automatic Shuttle Truck & Cake Buster option (AST - CB) the machine can also separate directly from pressed “cakes or cheeses” which have been discharged from water extraction presses, thereby eliminating the tumbler operation.
The AUTOPREP is a self-contained, freestanding machine that can be located at the most convenient point in the production line and simply connected to electricity and compressed air.
